Mola
“This child’s tunic, culturally known as a “mola”, is my favorite of the four tunics in the Art Museum’s collection. This tunic is synonymous with one word for me, ‘joy’! The vibrant colors and unique embroidered designs of this child’s garment express the energetic, playful, and colorful attitude of the innocence of childhood. I can just see the little girl running and playing carefree throughout her village wearing this beautiful tunic.”
