Description
The subject of this lithograph is a portrait of a woman from the shoulders up, set against a background of letters. Her hair is worn up and she her top is high collared with large, ruffled shoulder pads, a flower pinned to her breast. There is an envelope directly behind her head, closed and addressed to miss Eva David. The rest of the letters, overlapping to make up a background, are fully opened and written.
