KOD
Najee Strickland was inspired to create KOD, or Kids on Drugs, by his best friend’s son who has autism. The hypodermic needles and medication bottles refer to widespread vaccine administration, uncertain health diagnoses, and mental deterioration of the Black child in America. Strickland took additional inspiration from artist J. Cole’s album of the same title.
