Title

M.W.I

Description

This intricately designed linocut exemplifies a timeless expression of chaos and rebellion accompanied by social change. The skeletal figures are arranged by hierarchical scale. Towering, animal skull-headed figures dominate the crowd below both literally and metaphorically. Their different pieces of headwear are symbolic of their positions of power. Created in 2014, M.W.I. is a testament to the ongoing struggle for racial equality and legal accountability for police-inflicted violence.
