Take a Deep Breath

This enlarged mask was created by Noé Piña as a monument to the hardships and loss of the pandemic, as well as a symbol of coordinated action across divides. Getting the world’s population to regularly practice mask wearing was a huge task that required unification, compassion and understanding. This sculpture reminds us of the collective effort to protect the health and safety of our local, national, and international communities.
