Soup For My Family
Description
In the late summer of 2020, Former President Donald Trump lambasted recent protest participants in the wake of the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. Trump spoke about how “anarchists” were bringing “bags of soup” to protests to be used as weapons against police. The viral clip of Trump’s monologue at this event culminates in him saying, “When they get caught, they say ‘No, this is just soup for my family.”
