Grief Series II
The traumatic results of both the pandemic and political unrest combined with confinement to one’s home forced individuals to confront their grief in new ways. In this self portrait, we witness the artist experiencing this same grief. Grief Series II is a continuation of Quil Lindsey’s initial series from 2019. In this second series, Lindsey mourns the lives lost to police shootings and the Covid-19 virus.
