Intimations of Immortality

As children, we fear the monsters living under our beds. For Cloar, raised by a religious mother, the monster under his bed was a Satanic being. A devout little boy, his nightmares reflected a deep fear for his soul. Within his vivid dreams and mirrored in his sleepy eyes, we can see the internal struggle of one who is balancing the rewards of piety with the fear of damnation.
